Bill Green began her career in the Entertainment Business in the 1970’s as a makeup artist for television specials produced at Opryland Productions. Eventually migrating to software development she spent the 80’s and 90’s designing and managing the development of custom computer software for businesses. Returning to the theater in recent years with Glasgow Summer Theater, she has directed multiple musical theater productions performed at the Plaza Theatre. Bill brings many years of experience to the front office of the Plaza along with passion and dedication to the performances on the stage.
There are only three full-time staff members at the Plaza Theatre. This is not enough personnel to run a 1,000+ restored historic theatre, especially when it is full of Patrons. So the Plaza Theatre relies heavily on its Volunteer base, which currently includes over 60 Volunteers.
Volunteers serves as ushers, ticket scanners, ticket sellers, greeters, and more at performances. Volunteers also help out the Plaza Theatre during business hours by doing light office work, such as filing, answering the phone, selling tickets and data entry.
If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer here at the Plaza, come in or contact us via phone or e-mail.
If you wish to contact any of the staff members at the Plaza Theatre you may do so by contacting them directly via their e-mail addresses or if you prefer to meet them in person, feel free to come by the Plaza anytime during our normal business hours.
